WoW-pod

A nice commentary to the gamers' space project: An artist has designed a WoW-pod where the gamer has everything needed for the gaming session.

The Gamers' Space

In order to understand the impact of digital games on our culture, it's important to understand how they are used, how they fit into our society, and how the technology is integrated into the everyday. This weblog is dedicated to a research project by Torill Elvira Mortensen, Associate Professor at Volda College, Norway. The aim of this project is to gain an understanding of where the players of digital games play their games. The information is collected through an electronic survey. The links to this survey are posted on the player discussion boards of some of the larger computer games.

The link to the survey is active from March 25th until April 30th, 2009. If you wish to participate, you can follow this link.

Volunteers are also encouraged to mail pictures of their game machines and their position in the room to research dot game at gmail dot com
